HVAC Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This position focuses strictly on service, diagnostics, and maintenance — no installation work required.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems in residential settings. You must be comfortable working independently, communicating with customers, and delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, boilers)
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Test system performance and ensure proper operation
Educate customers on system condition and recommendations
Maintain accurate service reports
Follow all safety standards and local codes

Qualifications:

EPA Certification required
Minimum 2+ years of HVAC service experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of gas furnaces, AC systems, and boilers
Ability to work independently in the field
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license
