Handyman / Construction Repair Technician

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Handyman / Construction Repair Technician to join our team. After our plumbing work is completed, we restore and repair everything that was opened during the job — including drywall, flooring, tile, concrete, framing, painting, and finish work.


We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, shows up on time, and can work independently.


Responsibilities:

  • Repair drywall, tape, mud, sand, and match texture
  • Repair and paint walls and ceilings
  • Patch and repair flooring after plumbing work
  • Install or repair tile, laminate, hardwood, vinyl, and baseboards
  • Repair framing, woodwork, cabinets, and trim
  • Perform minor concrete repair and patching
  • Repair or replace subfloors if needed
  • Install doors, trim, molding, and finish carpentry
  • Keep the work area clean and professional
  • Communicate with customers respectfully and professionally
  • Work closely with our plumbing technicians to complete jobs


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a handyman, construction worker, carpenter, remodeler, or restoration technician
  • Must know how to repair drywall and perform basic finish work
  • Experience with flooring, painting, tile, and carpentry
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Must be dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work
  • English required; Spanish is a plus
  • Preferred Skills
  • Drywall finishing and texture matching
  • Flooring installation and repair
